“Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer may have been crazy to offer $33 per share or more for Yahoo, but Yahoo was even crazier to turn it down. Okay, how about $22?”
Yahoo has been a top story this year mainly because Microsoft tried to buy it for $33 a share, or more. Crazy? Maybe. But there’s not much Microsoft can do with its money except give it back to shareholders.

Microsoft has desperately turned to Simon Cowell to help sprinkle some X Factor dust on Windows Vista, giving the already has-been OS a last shot at stardom.
In its latest effort to get the youth to take up Vista, Microsoft will debut its ‘I’m a PC’ ad campaign in the UK during a commercial break in the first live X Factor show on ITV1 tomorrow night (Saturday 11th October)
